Dr. Cole Bergeson’s journey into chiropractic care began with a personal experience that changed his life.
Dr. Bergeson was born in Colfax, Wisconsin, where he was raised on a dairy farm. Growing up, he developed a strong work ethic and a love for outdoor activities, especially dirt bikes and motocross racing. At the age of 12, he suffered a serious crash that resulted in a neck injury. After traditional medical treatments did not bring relief, his father took him to see a local chiropractor. Within just a few treatments, his pain significantly improved. That experience left a lasting impression and inspired Dr. Bergeson to pursue a career helping others experience the same kind of relief and recovery.
While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, the birthplace of chiropractic, Dr. Bergeson experienced another injury—a disc herniation while lifting weights. During his recovery he was introduced to the Cox® Technic Flexion-Distraction, a specialized treatment used to relieve disc pressure and spinal nerve irritation. The results were so effective that he decided to further study spinal disc conditions and their rehabilitation. This additional training allows Dr. Bergeson to better treat patients experiencing disc injuries, chronic back pain, and nerve-related conditions. Dr. Bergeson is multi-state board certified and continues to expand his knowledge and skills to provide the highest level of care for his patients.
A Wisconsin Work Ethic with Kentucky Roots
While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Bergeson met his wife, Lauren. After graduation, he followed her to her home state of Kentucky, where they decided to build their life and practice. Dr. Bergeson quickly fell in love with Georgetown, as it reminded him of the small-town community he grew up in back in Wisconsin. Today, he is proud to serve the Georgetown community and help local families stay active, healthy, and pain-free. Outside of the office, Dr. Bergeson enjoys working in the garage, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with his dog Quinso.
